PoT: Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar
It's time for the thief among thieves: Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar. Sherigan and Mischief want to learn more about the character behind the persona. Furthermore, due to the (late) arrival of Sh- Herlock Sholmes, we're also able to talk a bit about the most famous detective while we're at it.

Even though a month had passed, our minds remained on thoughts of crime. At least it's only slightly related to murder?
While Mischief had originally offered the idea of talking about "detective fiction" it had been Sherigan who thought it'd be a nice fit after the previous episode. However, we quickly came to realise that we would not have the time to read, or re-read, a multitude of detective stories. In the end, we've narrowed it down and went for Arsène Lupin. Partially due to our shared link and awareness of the character through his presence in Persona 5.
Now, did Arsène Lupin manage to steal our hearts? While this might be debatable, we're absolutely recommending reading these stories during a hot summer day, even more so if one's actually in France by chance - and now due to Mischief's illness that caused a small episode delay, the weather's become certainly hot enough...
The episode covers our initial impressions, as well as some of our expectations that we've had to re-evaluate all throughout this little adventure. Additionally, there is the occasional Sherlock Holmes tangent, which is heavily tied to the appearance of Herlock Sholmes within the adventures of Lupin. Even less surprising is the obligatory Persona 5 callout, a callout that everyone must have seen coming.
Overall, it had been fun to try and return to the roots of a character that had seen so many different forms.

But now it is time to descend, we're going to visit the Underworld soon - join us next month (or well, July 28th), when we'll be talking about SupergiantGames' well-beloved Hades.
